Default Collector edition

yeah i know its early to be thinking bout it but...well Chp1 and Chp2 collectors editions were both delayed (not enough were produced was the excuses) and Im wondering if Chp3 is gonna suffer the same fate. I mean we preorder so they should already know how many they need to fulfil the preorders right? Im an impatient person and really really dont want to cancel another collectors edition order cause of inadequat numbers again.

Cheer up. If it's delayed, maybe Anet will give those people patient enough a 100,000 gold Pet.

Seriously, I hope the collector edition comes with a bonus pet, regardless if comes out on time or not. I'd actually prefer that to a unique dance that doesn't even stack with the Original CE aura.

It was delayed for some. Here in the UK we got the collection's Edition on time.

I enjoyed wooing people ingame with my backup dancers as most people didn't have CE Factions on release.

I expect we'll get another dance, or some special emote for the Dervish and Paragon, but we may get a pet as well

btw you can have backup dancers and DA together, you just have to do another emote before /dancenew, eg /bowhead /dancenew; /dance /dancenew

Well as I spoke with the manager of EBgames/Game Spot nothing has been realeased for a Collectors Edition yet and a new date was slated for its released as of Oct 17 2006 he did say if I order a regular Nightfall and A Collectors Edition comes out I can change the order to the Collectors Edition. And I don't mind what they give for the this Collector Edition.. I am always up to a good surprise

Lets say this one more time. Any date, unless specified by Anet/NCSoft, is STRICTLY A GUESS. As for the Nightfall CE being late, ANet/NCSoft knows they had a problem there last time, I'd expect that they sorted out the issues since then and everything should arrive on time.

the CE is the full game just like SE
CE= collector's edition (get extra items IRL and game)
SE= standard edition
SE is what most people get when they buy a game.

the date hasn't been announced officially

I thought Holland was Euros now?

If so, .77 Euros = $1 American

So, if Factions CE cost $60, then it'd be $46.56 Euros.

I don't think Nightfall will cost more than Factions, but I could be wrong.

note

i already have a confirmed order on the regular edition full game including all the extra items for 49.99 plus tax/s&h.

same price as Factions so i think the CE will be the same as well which was generally 20 dollars US more or 69.99 dollars US

Ack! Looks like I was wrong again. Actually, $50 seems to be the going rate for games nowadays, so that makes sense.

In that case, the CE will be about €54.

If its really that cheap then anyone in the UK gets ripped off, like always. In the UK the normal edition costs £30(thats roughly $55, $5 more than in the US) and the CE costs £50(roughly $90, $20 more than in the US). Its the same case when it comes to Euros too. If its really going to be around €54 then thats £40 which is £10 cheaper than the UK.

tbh, we always get ripped off from the American company that dunno how to set up the price as well as the high tax rate.
